Many signs point to 2014

Sreejith Narayan

A warm and loving New Year wishes to all readers.

We have stepped foot into 2014, a year poised to become one of the most important years in the history of mankind (in my belief). It is not just an opinion that I conjured up from the vagaries of my mind. Many signs point to 2014 being the year of unprecedented happenings; the most remarkable event of them all, the epoch-making, much awaited Reappearance of the Lord in the Sathya Sai form.

Without further ado, let us get to some of the most important pointers to the significance of 2014 with respect to His Reappearance.

Divine Revelations of the Third Millennium

Here are some excerpts from Yor Glory's book- "Divine Revelations of the Third Millennium from the Avatar Sri Sathya Sai Baba". "Yor Glory" is the name given by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba to E.C.,M.D., a Sicilian-born Neurologist and Psychiatrist. In 1985, following a surgery that left her mostly immobile for two years, Yor Glory embarked on an initiatory path, guided by her inner Master.

A Revelation by Jiten Thakrar

Many Sai devotees around the world would have heard Jiten’s name. For the sake of the readers who do not know him, Jiten Thakrar is a Sai instrument based out of the United Kingdom, currently engaged in propagating the Global Gayathri Mantra Program, a mission assigned by the Lord Himself!  Jiten has been receiving many visions and dreams of Bhagawan in His various forms, guiding him in his personal Sadhana and in his Divine work as a Sai instrument. Usually such messages are personal in nature that are not to be disclosed to all. However, on 1st October 2013, Jiten had a vision of Sai in Mother Gayatri form, asking him to send out the message about the imminent Return of Sri Sathya Sai Baba to all devotees. The instruction was to do it exactly one month from then. The following is an extract from Jiten’s email message on 1st November 2013.

A dream awaits its destiny

What would a Sai devotee have inferred if he or she had a dream in 2010 about Bhagawan leaving His body? Well, I do not know about others, but I certainly would have thought of it as an event to happen twelve years later. But one man who had such a dream, did not think like most others would have. He felt that such an event was drawing near, much earlier than anybody would expect. Not willing to stop there, he went on to believe that Swami would eventually come back, shaking the whole humanity to its core. Evidently, he had his own reasons to believe so!

A Hint from the Holy Hill

Sreejith Narayan

In the very first Bhajan that Swami taught after declaring His Avatarhood, "Manasa Bhajare Guru Charanam", He urged everyone to surrender to Lord Shiva of the Arunachala hill, further implying He was that very same Shiva who is Omkara personified. Such is the importance of Arunachala, the holy hill at Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. It is also an important place for devotees of Sri Ramana Maharshi, with Sri Ramana Ashram situated at its foothills.

Should we pray for Swami's Return?

Sreejith Narayan

Some devotees have asked the question "Should we pray for Swami’s Return?". Even though I am not qualified to answer this, I feel there is no harm in expressing my humble views.

The Sixth Sense of Sensei

Sreejith Narayan

Incredible near-prophetic revelations on the Sri Sathya Sai Avatar

David Steadman Davies who was known to many as Sensei (meaning Teacher in Japanese) was an exceptional teacher of the arts of Judo, Aikido and Yoga and reached unprecedented spiritual heights to be revered as a Great Master. Sensei was born in Wales in the year 1925. He had realized his purpose in life at the age of twelve and as a young man of eighteen, travelled to India and Korea while serving in the army. His deep understanding of spiritual concepts came as the result of meeting with some Spiritual giants and Great Masters along the way.

Golden Age and the "New Coming"

Sreejith Narayan

Sri Rama Navami is the day that marks the Advent of Lord Sri Rama who is revered as being the very embodiment of Dharma (righteousness) and whose life serves as an ideal for all mankind. Lord Rama is said to have ruled the Kingdom of Kosala from Ayodhya for an eleven-thousand year Golden Age known as the Rama-rajya or Rama's Kingdom, before eventually returning to His Mahavishnu form.

The Avatar of this age, Sri Sathya Sai Rama has also come to bring about such a Rama-Rajya or Golden Age in this Kali Yuga, as He has revealed in astonishing detail during some discourses and interviews. Here I contemplate on two such Divine Statements on the ensuing Golden Age that are separate and apparently unrelated. Yet as you read them in conjunction with each other, provide an astounding indication of things to come.

Has Swami Gone Anywhere?

Sreejith Narayan

Has Swami Gone Anywhere? I have been confronted with this question many a time when I speak of or write about Swami’s return. In other words, the questioners are suggesting whether there is any need to even talk about Swami's return when He hasn't left at all.

The Future of Puttaparthi

Sreejith Narayan

A Sai devotee (wishes to be anonymous) who has received numerous dreams and visions on Swami's return wrote to me a few weeks ago about her dream which prompted me to draw similarities with the dream of another prominent devotee. Whenever she writes to me about her visions or dreams, I pay close attention. One reason is that Swami's presence is always felt in her house in the form of many miracles. Another reason is that her dreams are very well detailed out. Now to the dream:

When will the Lord reappear? - Part 2 of 2

Sreejith Narayan

PART II

(Please click here to read the part 1 of this article

There have been many prophecies in various scriptures regarding the appearance of a universal redeemer who will arise at a most critical moment, saving people from their afflictions and calamities. Some of these prophecies may appear inconsistent and it could be tempting to not take them at their face-value. That is one of the reasons why I have tried to segregate the more consistent ones and correlate the prophecies from various sources so that the readers can identify the similarities between them and how they compare against Swami’s own words. Those similarities could be considered as the yardstick to measure the value of these prophecies.  As I have mentioned before, my belief in Swami's return stems from my faith in the certainty of His words. The moment when I realized (from Swami’s own words in various discourses) that He was not speaking in terms of lunar years, I knew in my heart that He will return because His words will never fail. Nadis and prophecies from other scriptures should be considered as supporting factors. From that perspective, let us consider these.

When will the Lord reappear? - Part 1 of 2

Sreejith Narayan

PART I

It has been the question of this Yuga and one that has been doing rounds in various Sai circles for the past few months. I have received many emails from fellow devotees regarding this topic. There were few occasions when I had thought about it but ultimately there is no point in trying to put a date against His Return. Swami’s ways are mysterious and unpredictable. That said, it would be really worth the wait, is it not? It is certain that each and everything He said will come to pass. When, where, how, is beyond us!

A Saint who reappeared thrice

By Sanjay Dhagat

(Author of "Sri Eashwara Uvaacha" (The God Speaks), SSSBPT)

There was a disciple of Shirdi Sai, Sadashiv Rao, who was a “Jamindar” (land lord) of Harda (Madhya Pradesh). He used to go for the darshana of Shirdi Baba very often. So when Shirdi Baba took Samadhi, he became very upset. Then one day Shirdi Baba gave him dream and said I am in Sai Kheda now you can go there to have my darshana.

Prayer can reverse a prophecy

Sreejith Narayan

Many reasons were suggested in the book ”Sai Thy Kingdom Come” for why Swami could have left His body in the manner He did. The clues actually come from a set of discourses, in one of which Swami says:

Divine Revelations: Reappearance a desideratum

Late Sri Ra.Ganapati was a very close devotee of Bhagawan and a deep scholar of scriptural texts in various languages. He has authored a biography series named “Baba: Satya Sai” which is considered a magnificent tribute to the life of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Following is an incident mentioned in one of the volumes:

His (Swami’s) college students had the privilege to see another unique creation in the Ootacamund Summer Course in June 1976.

Empower Yourself With The Soul Feeling

By Jullie Chaudhuri

Eternally free is He…
…to appear, disappear or to reappear…!
I am not attached to His Form, my dear,
Rather,
I do confess,
It just so happens to be,
I remain totally attached to His word, you see!

There was a time when Prof Kasturi was asked by a gentleman if there were any books available on Swami. This was in the early days when the only publication from Prashanti Nilayam was – Sanathana Sarathi.

Avatar and the Laws of Nature

Sreejith Narayan

There is a popular belief among devotees that Swami would not come back since He would never go against the laws of nature. In my opinion, the origin of this belief stems from the misinterpretation of Swami's words on the law of karma. Swami has indicated a few times that He would rarely interfere with the law of karma. It is easy to get confused between “laws of nature” and the “law of karma”. However, they are two entirely different things. The so-called "laws of nature" is only a term given to merely the perception by human beings of what can or cannot happen in the nature. The books like "Autobiography of a Yogi" are pregnant with amazing accounts of superhuman deeds performed by Saints and Ascended Masters. So how can we even begin to think that Swami the Poorna-Avatar would be limited by such laws?
