IMPORTANCE OF THE DAY OF ASHURA

Below is an alternate view on the time frame of the Reappearance, presented as an analysis based on interpretations of ancient prophecies and dreams/visions of devotees. While STKC is happy to discuss different viewpoints regarding Swami’s Reappearance, we would like to leave it to the reader’s discretion and interpretation as to what he/she will take away from these articles.

By Karthikeyan

Sairam to all fellow SKTCians, I request all to take the below article only as an analysis and not as a prediction on the date of Swami’s Reappearance. Only Bhagawan knows His plans and His day of Reappearance.

The Day of Ashura falls on the tenth day of Muharram as per the Islamic calendar and marks the climax of the Remembrance of Muharram. Based on certain dream/vision interpretations of recent times, we presume that Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba returned on the day of Vaikunta Ekadesi (December 31, 2014 - January 1, 2015). Now the question is when the Reappearance will be made known. Will that happen on the day of Ashura? (which falls on Friday, October 23, 2015 or Saturday, October 24, 2015). In this article, we will discuss such a possibility, taking references from certain Islamic traditions and the Sacred Nadis, and drawing a parallel between these sources.

TO BE A TRUE TRUTH ASPIRANT

By Karthikeyan

Sairam to all fellow SKTCians,

In the first message given by Swami to Sister Apurva Iyengar on November 23, 2014, He had urged everyone to be a True Truth Aspirant. Some redolent thoughts are provided here that I hope would help in understanding how to become a True Truth Aspirant.

Golden Avatar - Golden Age - Golden City

By Karthikeyan

Sairam to all Brothers and Sisters,

We have heard from Christian beliefs (and from the Holy Bible) that a New City would come from Heaven when God comes to earth. Is it true? If it is, then how the New City will be? A short analysis based on some points from Sister Sophia Sai’s vision and from the Bible.

I believe with absolute certainty!

By Narender Thangavelu

Unlike how many people experienced, the book Sai Thy Kingdom Come has not restored my faith. Instead, it produced a faith where there was void and triggered a new perspective. Moreover, it gave a new meaning and dimension to the dreams that I have been having all along. I am listing a few of such dreams here and will later go on to explain what they mean to me. (At the end of each dream narration, I have quoted relevant Swami’s statements that I found in STKC - in italics).

God-madness is good madness

By Aanchal Sai Sharma & Sneha Sharma

Over the past two years, many devotees have been visiting this site to take part in the discussions on Swami’s Reappearance. In the process, many dates have been suggested by various devotees for His Return, based on dream interpretations, calculations derived from Swami’s words, astrological signs etc. There always seem to be hype around certain dates, after the passing of which, devotees set their eyes on the next possible scenarios. By no means have these been treated as “predictions” as it is clear that no one can predict the unpredictable. And, deep in our hearts, it is clear to all of us that Swami alone knows how and when things will all pan out. It is impossible to foresee what the Avatar would do next! That being the case, many have questioned why devotees still engage in speculations about the possible dates of His return.

In this short article, the Sharma sisters address this important question and come up with a simple reasoning of why they believe it is perfectly fine to participate in such discussions.

Where is our Faith?

WHERE IS OUR FAITH? 1

By Saayamma 'Satori'

Thank you for your periodical blog posts and also for sharing wonderful happenings around the world which are really light houses and street lights giving constant sustenance to the unquestioning confidence of devotees working in His Mission at this crucial phase in human history. They appear regularly with consistent style, courage and unwavering faith.

However, even devotees who have seen great miracles do not believe

Recently, in our fortnightly study circle, devotees shared miraculous things happening in different corners of the world from Holland to New Zealand, Venezuela to Velankanni and from Medjugorje Hill to Kodai Hills, all pointing to the Grand second coming of our beloved Lord.

Have Patience, Have Faith

By Tatiana Mineeva

Tatiana Mineeva is from Russia and currently lives in Puttaparthi. It is difficult to find another devotee who has as much conviction in Swami’s Reappearance as Tatiana. Since Swami left His body, Tatiana has been telling every Sai devotee whom she meets, not to believe in His Maya “disappearance” and that He will be back in the same Sathya Sai form. Tatiana, along with Veronika Kravtsova and Natalia Kosareva, was instrumental in getting Sai Thy Kingdom Come translated to Russian and spreading the book and the belief of His Reappearance among Russian speaking devotees. In this article (originally written in Russian and translated to English by Veronika Kravtsova), Tatiana expresses her strong faith in His Reappearance and narrates an incredible experience that she had, which points to Swami’s return.

Nine Lamps to Light from Now On: An Interpretation

By Susan Iris Fay

On April 28, 2011, only days after His passing, Swami gave us a practical and loving message through Seema Dewan, teaching us nine qualities to foster within as we fare forward. Called Nine Lamps to Light from Now On, the message is extremely helpful for devotees to absorb as we move through these pivotal times, poised on the cusp of Swami’s inauguration of the Golden Age. Even after Swami jump-starts the Sathya Yuga with His Return in the same Form, we will benefit from focusing on these qualities. They will help us manage ourselves and serve others during the turbulent months and years of the transition into the Golden Age.

The Nine Lamps message is therefore custom-made guidance for Baba devotees in our current times, yet it is little known and the original Message itself is slightly elusive to grasp and hold onto. That’s why I summarized and paraphrased the Nine Lamps message, hoping it would help me incorporate its teachings into my daily life. So I’m offering one devotee’s meditative interpretation of Swami’s Nine Lamps...

"Hasta la vista"

By GSK Rajesh

“Hasta la vista, I’ve to go now but I’ll be back soon”, Swami told me the night before He left His mortal form.

It was a painful fortnight that we all had to bear through during the month of April 2011. Swami was hospitalized and everyday all of us expected news with some ray of hope. My wife had crawled back into her shell and completely focused her thoughts on Swami’s recovery.
