STKC Sadhana Aradhana Month

28th March - 27th April:  STKC Sadhana Aradhana Month

Requesting all devotees to participate wholeheartedly by chanting 'Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu' ('May all the beings in all the worlds be happy'), at least 108 times daily. Please see below for more information.

An Offering Of Adoration – A Prem Vandana...Exuding the Harmony of ‘Samastha Lokah...’

If tears could fill an Ocean bed,

Earth would have known an Ocean new,
What each soul felt,
Gushed forth from the eyes,
...as creation watched and sighed in lament and rue,
The Creator herald an interlude...
...a momentary adieu hitherto...

‘Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’- This Name kindles myriad vivid sentiments in each devoted heart. Bhagawan’s Life and Leelas are immeasurably vast, mystical and completely beyond the grasp of finite human minds. The soul nevertheless, constantly reminisces and revels in His Glories.

Beloved Swami chose this period 28th March – 24th April 2011 to selflessly inflict unimaginable cosmic calamities upon His Divine Form for the ultimate protection of humanity and earth.

Simply because each of us and every bit in creation matters to Him. Then how much does He matter to us all...and all that He put Himself through too?

While invoking Supreme Grace, STKC desires to devotedly honor the extraordinary significance of this period, while upholding its sanctity in a consolidated manner. This requires the association of our heart, mind, body and soul in selfless living, ceaseless giving and unconditional loving.

Bhagawan’s Advent is a timeless illustration of matchless compassion. Each episode of the Sathya Sai Avatar exemplified this vitality of empathy, the illustrious virtue of impeccable giving steering humans towards humanity. The onus is upon each of us that adores Him to cherish Him, His Presence in the mineral, plant, animal and human world, so too, in every speck of the cosmos for He is the Cosmic Being.

Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu is the message, life and mission of the Sathya Sai Avatar. Through it we celebrate the Sai in and around us – Serving All Infinitely is US - Universal Seva!

Consequently, STKC requests all devotees to participate wholeheartedly in an Offering of Adoration…a Prem Vandana, devoting this period of time to ‘Sadhana through the Aradhana of Samastha Lokah...’ and proposes a 108 times intonation of this most noble chant that emanates boundless magnanimity while embracing all in its wake beyond any man-made barriers. Samastha Lokah is a way of Life...the heartbeat of every religion.

Suggested method of chanting:

Hold a globe in your hand or envision it in your heart. Encircle it with the Light of Bhagawan’s Love while chanting Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu for atleast 108 times a day.

Alternatively, you may choose to use the below video which has the rotating globe encompassed by Bhagawan's Divine Abhayahasta (the fear-removing, blessing and protecting hand gesture). It also has the audio of "Samastha Lokah" chanting (108 times) for you to chant along if you prefer so. While chanting along, as the globe spins, visualize Bhagawan's Divine Blessings reaching every corner of this world, enveloping each individual/being, society, city, country, globe and the entire universe in a cosmic embrace, bringing peace to all.

Other Suggested Improvisations

Take a box. Write Earth/Name of Home Country/City/etc, on the sides, add a picture of earth or the cosmos or simply write ‘Earth’ on a piece of paper and put it in the box. Then on, each day pen at least one ‘Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu’ and place it in the box so as to energize your intent and its reach.

At the end of any conversation or mail, ‘Samastha Lokah...’ could be the concluding/parting line along with Sai Ram.

Ring Tone for cell phones. (Click here to download the 'Samastha Lokah' ringtone in mp3 or m4r format)

This chant knows no restrictions and can be chanted at any place at any time in sync with the breath. Believe in and be aware of its capacity to harmonize and reach out to innumerable unseen and unknown beings that need help.

Sharing of experiences brought on through reciting this mantra.

Write stories for children based on ‘Samastha Lokah...’.

An undertaking to speak to at least one person daily regarding the universal appeal of this chant.

Along with this, each day of this month it is suggested to carry out random acts of kindness howsoever small the gesture of harmony maybe. Endeavoring an awareness of Bhagawan in every atom these noble acts may involve the environment/five elements/people/all living beings so as to promote – Care for all life, Concern for Nature and Reverence for Creation.

Let us come together and join hands in this noble cause and offer this Sadhana at His Divine Lotus Feet. What pleases Him the most is that we all unite in bringing peace and harmony to this world!

The genesis of 'Samastha Lokah'

It was on August 31, 2008, that our beloved Bhagawan revised the Mantra for Universal Peace, Lokah Samastha…into ‘Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu’, birthing The Universal Maha Mantra For Cosmic Peace and Harmony. Uttering the Holy Mantra, Bhagawan said…it is not one world, and there is no individual feeling, we should encompass all the worlds.

As the universal peace formula originated from Bhagawan, today, when the world is reeling under pressure, when the very fabric of Dharma in society is threatened, let’s revisit the momentous happening, re-pledging our commitments to our Beloved Bhagawan, embracing the Universal…Cosmic feeling of Oneness, praying and resolving for a new world order as willed by our Beloved Bhagawan. Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu…May all the beings in all the worlds be happy!

O Greater One, Lord Sathya Sai,
Precious treasury of compassion,
Bestower of supreme inner peace,

You, who love all beings without exception,
Are the source of happiness and goodness;
And you guide us to the liberating path.

Your body is a wish fulfilling jewel,
Your speech is supreme, purifying nectar,
And your mind is refuge for all living beings.

With folded hands I turn to you,
Supreme unchanging friend,
I request from the depths of my heart:

Please give me the light of your wisdom
To dispel the darkness of my mind
And to heal my mental continuum.

Please nourish me with your goodness,
That I in turn may nourish all beings
With an unceasing banquet of delight.

Through your compassionate intention,
Your blessings and virtuous deeds,
And my strong wish to rely upon you,

May all suffering quickly cease
And all happiness and joy be fulfilled;
And may Sanathana Dharma flourish for evermore.

Samastha Lokah Sukhino Bhavantu

"For everything, devotion (bhakthi) is the basis. Nothing can be achieved without devotion.
Students! Money, tanks, bombs, or governments do not protect the world, only God's Grace does.

It is essential for you to aspire for the welfare of the world and pray to God for it.
To quell the storms in the world, God's Grace is the only way.

The strength and capacities of today's students will determine peace and security in the future."

Moreover, the essence of Samastha Lokaah was planted in each individual soul as it birthed itself from the Cosmic Womb…the womb of Mother Sai. Quite essentially and unknowingly all are silently exuding this Mantra. It is time enough to arise, awaken and be aware of this truth, this Dharma of our existence especially during this period of Sai Lent. Then on may it blend with every heartbeat, each inhalation that destiny has bestowed upon us. Isn’t this what pleases the ever blissful Supreme Father and Mother of Creation? Isn’t this the bliss of our Precious Lord?

Come, let us dwell upon the sublime living exemplified by Sai…may Sathya Sai Bhagavatam continuously absorb our soul, may Samastha Lokaah/Jeeva Sukhino Bhavantu propel our thoughts, words and deeds. May His compassion be our everyday mission. Together let us offer allegiance to the breath of Sai.

Muhammad said “Four things support the world: the learning of the wise, the justice of the great, the prayers of the good, and the valor of the brave."

Dear Brother Sreejith,

You are wise to discover the ideas of reappearance of Swami and brave enough to write a book on it ! which is supported by the justice of dreams of Sktcians and their prayers to bring Swami Again !

Thank you for all your efforts to raise this platform for all devotees and keeping the hopes high. And Thanks to STKC team and all other members who work and support for STKC.
