Herta Pfeifer merged in Sai on November 19th, 2013 at the age of 83.
Herta's life was an example of selfless service. Hailing from Chile, she was largely responsible for translating a number of books (over 120) on Baba into Spanish and making them available to the people of Latin America. Bhagawan said in one of His Divine Discourses that there is no greater service than to work for the Sai Organization. Herta dedicated most of her time into translating the books on Bhagawan. Thanks to her tireless work, thousands of people are able to read the Divine Messages in Spanish and their lives were touched by the Divine Love.
Once Herta asked Swami if her 'Seva' was His Will or merely out of her ego. Swami answered that she should translate for the Latin people because that was His Will. So we know Swami Willed all her translation work. Sai Thy Kingdom Come Spanish translation is blessed to be an outcome of that Divine Will.
When Herta passed, her grand children sent out a message to all well wishers which said "..for those who would like to bid farewell to Herta, to come with joy and filled with love, you may bring flowers or anything you would like to share, but please do not bring wreaths and do not wear dresses of mourning, because we are going to celebrate her union with God in happiness".
We at Sai Thy Kingdom Come too celebrate her life, her unparalleled Seva, her legacy and her union with God.
