My eyes noticed many a wondrous homecoming,
As i journeyed along the Pune-Mumbai Expressway,
My gaze soaked in the gleaming, shimmering scene,
Carpets galore of velvet green,
On the lap of Mother Earth, the reigning Queen,
...my soul bathed itself in waves...so tranquil and serene...
My heart synchronised its beat...
...to Nature’s fascinatingly winsome tune...
...to this sublime seasonal gift bequeathed by the Monsoon...

It seemed like a time for reunion everywhere,
The sky too sent along as emissaries...
...clouds and mists so as to make Earth aware...
...gentle whispers of its love and care...
Glistening raindrops hastened along...
...humming a joyful song...
...to brim over rivers, lakes and streams...
...finely cascading magical themes...
...touching the soil to come alive...
...to the harmony of oneness with none in between...

Hence, Oh! Incredible One...
Oh! Profoundly Cherished One,
Oh! Mystical Master...
For the foremost boon of a divine reunion,
We unabashedly make no pretence...
Your children beseech You to recommend...
...urgent amends...
...our faults, flaws and failings that we may transcend...
Though forever we remain drenched in Your Essence,
Life is incomplete without Your Presence,
Make us whole,
Oh! Beloved Mother Sai...
...before we merge into You - our Source...
...blending into the iridescent glades of the Cosmic Forevermore...
Emerge, Appear, Reappear...
Creation does Thee implore...
Vibrant appeals form a ceaseless outpour...
...embracing those petal soft Lotus Feet...
...they adoringly display a unique decor...
Kindly return here and now to the earthly fore,
Prior to that eternal homecoming in store...
We plead a reunion in the earthly sphere,
Now and here...
Before we return to our Source...
... Oh! Source Supreme...come to us once more...

Our love for You encompasses the ether...
...falling short of space in space...
...it pours forth as rain...upon the earthly domain,
Each drop does enclose an image of You...
...its intense gush nothing can subdue...
...forming myriad rivers and oceans...splashing adorations anew...
Forgive us our lapses, Sweet Mother Divine,
Our life You must instantaneously, forthwith realign,
...a reunion here and now...You must neither deny nor decline,
Grant a Cosmic Nod...Dear God,
... Emerge, Appear, Reappear...
...our impassioned pleas reinforce...
...graciously, magnanimously endorse...

Yield to the prayers of Creation...
...as it does Thee collectively implore...
Though forever we remain drenched in Your Essence,
Life is incomplete without Your Presence,
Kindly come again here and now to the earthly fore,
Prior to that eternal homecoming in store...
We plead a reunion in the earthly sphere,
Now and here...
Hear, acknowledge and proclaim a Divine Assent...
...to this call from deep within our core...
...for the sake of universal benefit...
...seeking an exclusively glorious encore,
Before it’s our turn to return to You - our Source...
