24th April 2011, shattered something deep within me...it gave a million watt jolt to my soul...the spirit lay broken and whimpering in a lonely corner smashed into smithereens...helplessly hopeless...hopelessly helpless...emotions greyed and foundations frayed...left over tremors of that tumultuous shock are a reality even at this present moment.

Agony suffused each cell of the being...i was still alive, yet, i wondered where was my Life...

Anguish submerged ‘joie de vivre’...joy from every bit of living, utterly...till i heard that oh! so-familiar and dearly loved voice during few moments of restless sleep...sleep so elusive...and an appetite for existence so dry and evaporated...negligible and plaintive...engulfing the hollow hours and days that survived this ‘creation shattering event’...trying to coax a response...deepen an understanding...nudge some heart into living.

It was a lucid command so simple yet so impactful...that forcefully...extremely sternly stated – ‘Be Patient’.

With this phrase...so pregnant with meaning...at that precise moment...i was reborn...

...so too, refreshingly rejuvenated was faith in His Words...thorough conviction in this most Supreme Advent of the Ultimate Being...the belief in the fulfilment of the commitments of the Greatest Avatar...directing and amplifying my resolve to believe in His Word...each word an assurance, an undertaking, an engagement, an obligation...a Cosmic Contract...so timeless...so true...for those Words are the Words of the Personification of Truth...and when He, Who has indeed come to liberate...Who doesn’t need a mandate...Who is Truth Incarnate...Whose Power none can measure, calculate, equate or evaluate has deemed it appropriate...to utter those Words...His Will will navigate humanity...towards ‘that’ promised Golden Era...which only He can initiate, create and eventuate...

..for He is Who He is...and He is What He is – along with being God, the Divine Parent, Friend, Guru and Guide...He is the Eternal 'Palanhar'...the Everlasting Protector, Provider and...Saviour. He has come to save...to alleviate and elevate...and so He...His Will...will...will it so...

Thus so, that phrase – ‘Be Patient’ enhances my fervour...rekindles confidence, belief and a core certainty that soon...sooner than soon...one day soon...Earth and the Cosmos...as well as all beings in all the Lokaahs will have a most uniquely astonishing, breathtakingly spectacular occasion to celebrate...as distinctively astounding and startlingly incomprehensible as the events that led to the Advent of the Almighty upon Earth as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba...on Monday, 23rd November 1926 at 5.06 am...at Puttaparthi in India...a since then designated as an ‘ever-so-perennially sacrosanct spot’.

Consequently...patiently...humanity awaits that exclusively resplendent and luminous ‘burnished in gold’ moment...shining brilliantly in the floodlight of a scintillating announcement...that reveals the Glorious Homecoming...the Return of the Messiah...the Renewed Advent of the Truth of all Truths...

Oh! Most Cherished One...Beloved Bhagawan, You declared once that You are - Sarva Devata Atita Swarupa...beyond all names and forms...of all Deities and Gods...subsequently, these lines gushed forth from the soul...depicting plainly what You mean to me...and is being offered here in all humility as a dedication to Thee –

Satchidananda Parameshwara
Anadir Adir Eashwarinandan
Sarva Karana Karanam

We may not deserve You...
Yet,
...it is true...
We need You...
Every bit in creation needs You...
Respond to our agony,
Oh! Mother Sai,
Omniscient You are...
...Omnipresent too...
...can You not hear our agonised cry...?
We may not have accomplished anything...
...scornfully discarding lessons to learn...
...not a thing have we achieved that we may earn You...
...trespasses that leave a distasteful trail...
...a shameful  mess...
Nevertheless,
...suspended in the ether are paeans...
...that passionately attempt to woo You...
...intense efforts to court, cajole and entreat You... 

Come, Oh! Sarva Devata Atita Swarupa...
Oh! Saieshwara,
You, Who are beyond all Forms of Gods...
Come and herald in that promised transformation...
Oh! Satchidananda Parameshwara...
Oh! Eternally Infinite Ocean of Truth, Awareness and Bliss...
...You, we do profoundly miss...
Oh! Matchless Sovereign...
...accept our adoration...
Come, lead us into exalted ascension...
Are we wrong to cling to Your declarations...
...where each Sublime Utterance promises a Divine Rendezvous...?
Beloved One, even as we long and yearn for You...
Come...if only to make us ‘earn’ You...

Incredible You...
Incomparable You...

Oh! Treasured One...
...we long for You...
...while in a crowd we remain lonely for You...
Come, hear our disconsolate and wistful song...
...we are alive...yet where is our Life...?
Oh! Cherished Soul,
You gave us life...You are our Life...
...You helped us breathe...You are our Breath...
...life has no meaning without You...
...don’t we have a right over our Breath...?
...don’t we have a claim over our Life...?
...come to us, return our Life Breath to us...

Barren...barren...barren...
...must You, Dearest Dear, ignore our pain...?
...must we journey on and on upon...
...ever so rough a terrain...?
Consent to our collective refrain -
Come...
...grant meaning to our life...
You, are our life...
...grant our Life back to us...
...grant us You...
...it is true...we may not be worthy of You...
...it is true...we may not be deserving too...
Even so, in keeping with Your communiqué -
‘I don’t ask that you earn Me...
I only ask that you need Me...’
...we deeply pine and wish for You...
...tears glisten with images of You...
...heartbeats race...
...seeking blessings and grace -
...we need You, Beloved Kismet of our Soul...
...we need You...
Come, reach us to You...
...reach us to our Ultimate Goal...

We need You, Beloved Bhagawan...
...can You not feel our distress and misery,
At this separation...
...where each moment seems like a century...
And each second brims over with longing for Thee...
We need You...
Beloved One...
Earlier at each darshan...
...thoughts such as these would incessantly swirl -
Oh! Bhagawan...
Your Lotus Eyes so full of buoyant verve...
...of ebullience...of sparkling joyous life...
...compels us to breathe the next breath...
...to take the next step...
...to live...
...for what we see of the world...
...so lacking in ethics,
...riddled with chaos, conflicts,
...vile violence and...
...calculated discord...
...makes us want to turn away, Oh! Sweet Lord...

Now, the maelstrom of musings encircle You so -
Where should we go without You...?
...where can we go...without You...?
...after having loved You...adored You...
...having once desired You...
...all yearnings have flown away...
...we crave for nothing else but You...
Can You stay...
...away from us...?
How much longer will You be able to remain away...
...having chosen to so tangibly separate from us...?
Oh! Anadir Adir Eashwarinandan...
Sarva Karana Karanam...
Oh! Supreme Source...
...darling ‘child’ of Eashwaramma...
...being the Origin...the Original Being...
...You know and have no beginning...
Oh! Primal Cause of all Causes...
You have to come for us...
You have to return to us...
You must return to us...
...or else allow us to merge into You...
Come, end this distressingly arduous phase...
Oh! Companion Supreme of lonely pathways...

Come...we await You...
...You...Who is beyond and behind all laws...
...the Absolute One Who formats all laws...
...of all causes being the Primordial Cause...
We invoke Thy Limitless Largesse...
...Earth pleads a Celestial Caress...
Bestow upon Creation this most vital benediction,
